Based in Europe, this client is one of the world’s top pharmaceutical companies and is recognized for its medicines. Committed to the ongoing development of its leadership population, this organisation implemented this World Class Leadership Programme for their managers from 2001-2014.

Challenges

Such a large company and important reputation needs to be matched by its leadership style, people strategy and client interactions. A World Class Leadership Programme should be implemented incorporating current and engaging topics that interest the individuals working for the company. Good leadership will motivate individuals and strengthen relationships while maintaining their reputation.

Our approach

Experiential and engaging 21st Century topics would provide the opportunity to explore leadership concepts and enable participants to create high performing results as leaders of individuals and teams.

Design

Driven by the organisations internal leadership values, participants reflected on their leadership knowledge, experience, and behaviour in a challenging and inspirational environment. We developed, planned, and implemented a range of workshops:

  •  Multiple workshops attended by 12 delegates over a 5-day period was held in an intimate and inspiring location
  •  The programme was attended by 350 leaders amounting to 30 workshops
  •  Continuing to evolve, the programme supported growth, progress, and change within the organization.

Results

This ‘World Class’ Leadership Programme continues to be talked about. Global leadership networks were formed, and trusted relationships continue to thrive. Participants often request the opportunity to re-visit this experience and reinforce the learning and development opportunity.
